Direct and light interpretation of our Sangiovese, a delicate wine but with decisive and intense aromas, the son of the noble Tuscan winemaking tradition. DENOMINATION: IGT TOSCANA ROSATO REGION: Tuscany GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese WINEMAKER: Emiliano Falsini SOIL: medium texture with limestone HARVEST PERIOD: starting from the beginning of September AGEING: steel for about 5 months VINIFICATION: from the first harvest of Sangiovese grapes grown in the same vineyards from which we obtain the Diadema Rosso, we obtain a selection of grapes that are delicately pressed, followed by cold static clarification and alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of about 16°C in steel and ageing sur lies for about 5 months. TASTING NOTES: A light Provençal pink from a Tuscan sunset announces a gracious and tantalizing wine with a clear nose of pomegranate and roses, lavender, redcurrant, ginger that also reveals a chalky and fruity side of wild strawberry made more evident by a light note of lavender and sweet tobacco. The sip has a savory feel, unfolds fresh and light with a mentholated touch until it closes on late mandarin, pink grapefruit and violets with hints of aromatic herbs.
