OTHER CURIOSITIES
In the mid-90s the Gaja family, giants of Barbaresco and Langhe wines, purchased the Santa Restituta estate in Montalcino, near the country church of the same name and started, starting from the 2005 harvest, the production of Brunello di Montalcino with the passion and mastery that distinguishes it and which have made its wines famous throughout the world. The Brunello di Montalcino Santa Restituta comes from Sangiovese Grosso grapes coming from four vineyards of the estate, matures one year in barriques and one year in oak barrels, it is a wine of great finesse, scented with flowers, red fruits and balsamic herbs, soft and persistent on the palate, which sublimely expresses the excellence and quality of Gaja wines.
