VINTAGE DESCRIBED BY FRANCESCO MONARI, TECHNICAL DIRECTOR AND AGRONOMIST: A moderately cold and dry winter. Spring with good rainfall and temperatures below average. Rainy and hot June and very hot summer. Constant ripening thanks to water reserves and a mild September. The vintage turned out to be excellent in every respect. HARVEST: End of September. VINIFICATION: Spontaneous fermentation for about two weeks, in steel tanks at a controlled temperature with macerations aimed at extracting color and above all the strong aromatic charge. Long aging in bottle. TASTING NOTES BY BERNARDINO SANI, CEO AND WINEMAKER: The wine embodies the power and style of the fantastic 2015 vintage. On the nose, very evident notes of plum and morello cherry typical of Brunello, but also a light spiciness, with excellently integrated wood. In the mouth it expresses great vivacity and energy. Well-integrated tannins. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% vol.
