Vinification In steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 25 and 28° C, maceration on the skins for about 20 days.
Maturation and refinement 18 – 20 months in French oak tonneaux and 12 months in the bottle.
Planting density 5,200 vines/ha. Year of planting 2000 Training method Spurred cordon. Production per hectare 50 q. Annual production 15,000 bottles. First vintage 2000 (until 2004 it was obtained from old vineyards of Vallocaia). A broad and enveloping nose, characterized by notes of small red and black fruits, balsamic and spicy; the taste is savory, full and structured by a dense tannicity.
