TRE is a blend of three grape varieties - Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon - from our three estates: Maremma, Castellina and Radda in Chianti. The elegant and well-structured wine ages for 12 months, two-thirds in French oak tonneaux and one-third in cement.

Vineyards Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Maremma.
Altitude and exposure Chianti: 230 - 400 m above sea level; S-SW exp; Maremma: 75-175 m above sea level; W-SW exp.
Soil Castellina in Chianti: clayey; Radda in Chianti: medium texture, rich in skeleton; Maremma: sandy and clayey. Sand for two thirds and silt and clay for one third.
Climate and microclimate Chianti: continental climate, with cold winters (temperatures below 0° C) and very hot summers. Maremma: Mediterranean climate with very hot summers and very mild winters.
