Produced with Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes aged for approximately 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Our historic wine, produced from 1971 to 1981 as Chianti Classico Montevertine and since 1982, following the our exit from the Chianti Classico Consortium, simply like Montevertine. From selected grapes Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino, matures for two years Slavonian and Allier oak barrels.
