Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah
An intense and deep Supertuscan that represents the
potential of the three vines that compose it.
The mild winter and the summer characterized by excellent temperature variations between
day and night, favored the excellent ripening and quality of the grapes.
These conditions have given us balanced and complex wines.
The result is a wine characterized by a very intense fruit aroma
ripe and plum and cherry jam, accompanied by notes of
vanilla, coffee and tobacco. Large, important and elegant structure.
A long-aging wine perfect for pairing with first courses
meat, such as spaghetti with white rabbit ragout or second courses based on
vegetables, such as stuffed tomatoes or vegetable ratatouille,
Soil: with sandy clay and rounded pebbles
Training system: spurred cordon - Banfi sapling
Planting density: 4200 cp/ha.
Yield per hectare: 60 q/ha.
Fermentation: at a controlled temperature (25-30°) in vats
combined in steel and French oak Horizon
Aging: brief passage in wood – Sangiovese in barrels
of French oak (60 and 90 hl) and the other varieties in barrique
350 liter French oak.
Alcohol: 14.5%
Suggested serving temperature: 16-18°C
