Grapes:
100% Pinot Noir - Selection
Vineyards and planting:
The grapes come from 30-year-old vines, managed with
organic method, treated only with copper and sulfur e
fertilize with stable manure and place on a cord
rammed high, to ensure shade for the grapes and
preserve the aromas.
The clayey soil, rich in iron and quartz and positioned at
200 m above sea level and 10 km from the coast, in a
unique and uncontaminated terroir, characterized by important
temperature variations between day and night.
Harvest and Vinification:
The grapes are selected and harvested manually and
placed in 18 kg boxes. The grapes before being
pressed are placed overnight in the refrigerator in order to
have a greater extraction of scents and avoid
oxidations. After integral fermentation, the wine comes
left in barrique for 10 months. Bottled by hand or not
filtered. This is followed by 3 years of refinement in the bottle.
Wine:
Pale ruby red in colour, with garnet reflections,
brilliant. The nose expresses elegant hints of small fruits
reds, such as raspberries, wild strawberries and blackberries, with
elegant and delicate balsamic and citrus notes.
On the palate it has good structure and tannins
soft and silky, beautiful acidity and notable persistence
make it perfectly balanced and exceptional
drinkability. Balance, finesse and elegance are the elements
that characterize this wine
