The 1988 harvest was extraordinary for Tuscany, an event that pushed Raffaele Rossetti to want to realize an innovative idea by combining the Sangiovese of Capannelle with a Merlot grown in Tuscany. The Merlot produced by the Avignonesi di Montepulciano company is selected. Thus was born a great red wine, 50&50.
Very bright ruby, it anticipates aromas of violet and rose petals. Taste of impeccable elegance and freshness, with velvety tannins, counterbalanced by a silky softness. With a long and satisfying finish, sublimated by a perfect taste-olfactory roundness. Intense nose, with hints of cherry and red fruits. Innovative and balanced, with strong aromas, sweet tannins.

Grapes: 50% Sangiovese Capannelle, 50% Merlot Avignonesi

Vinification: 13-30 hl conical Slavonian oak vats

Production per hectare: 30 hectolitres

Ageing: Approximately 24 months in barrique
