Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah
An intense and deep Supertuscan that excellently represents the
potential of the three grape varieties that compose it.
Mild winter and summer characterized by excellent temperature variations between
day and night, they favored the excellent ripeness and quality of the grapes.
These conditions have given us balanced and complex wines.
The result is a wine characterized by a very intense fruit aroma
ripe and plum and cherry jam, accompanied by notes of
vanilla, coffee and tobacco. Large, important and elegant structure.
Long aging wine perfect in combination with first courses of
meat, such as spaghetti with rabbit ragù in white or second courses based on
vegetables, such as stuffed tomatoes or vegetable ratatouille,
Soil: with sandy clays and rounded pebbles
Training system: spurred cordon - Banfi sapling
Plant density: 4200 cp / ha.
Yield per hectare: 60 q / ha.
Fermentation: at controlled temperature (25-30 °) in vats
combined in steel and French oak Horizon
Aging: short passage in wood - Sangiovese in barrels
of French oak (60 and 90 hl,) and the other varieties in barrique in
350 liter French oak.
Alcohol: 14.5%
