Tuscany Typical Geographical Indication Rosé
The philosophy: the "flower power" rosé finds its natural habitat as a "pool wine" or in
accompaniment to a barbecue with friends, it is a possible alternative to other drinks for anyone
everyday and informal occasion. With a good value for money, this wine has been created
using grapes from organic farming.
The bottle: the name "Flower Power" is borrowed from an expression of the poet Allen Ginsberg who coined
this term in 1965 in reference to the "hippy counterculture" of the 1960s. His
characteristic is the simplicity and immediacy of drinking.
Harvest date 2020: corresponds to the first harvests of Sangiovese carried out starting from the first
ten days of September, a prelude to the harvest of the reds.
Grapes: Sangiovese from organic farming (BIO).
Vinification: takes place through soft pressing of whole grapes that have undergone a very short contact
on the skins.
Bottling date of the 2020 vintage: March 2021, around 30,000 bottles were produced.
Organoleptic characteristics: from the classic soft pink color, it expresses notes of tropical fruit on the nose
followed by floral tones, in the mouth it demonstrates ease of drinking and pleasantness. Ideal as an aperitif on its own
or in combination with platters, cold dishes, white meat, fish and cheeses; it is recommended to serve at approx
12°C.
