This vineyard is located on the eastern side of
Montalcino, at an altitude included
between 260-310 meters above sea level. Facing north/northeast
soil is of type: “Pietraforte Formation”, soils
clayey with sandstone banks compacted by
very variable thicknesses from centimeter to metre,
intense brown in colour.

Harvest
The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September
Vinification and refinement
The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel vats
stainless steel at controlled temperature, the times of
maceration are: two days of maceration
cold at 10°C and 5-6 days at 25-28°C during
fermentation. Malolactic fermentation
takes place in concrete vats. Next the wine
it is aged for 10/12 months in oak barrels
20-30 HL.

Sensory Characteristics
The color is ruby ??red, the aroma is clear on the nose
and intense. Reminiscent of small red and black fruits,
enriched by balsamic notes. It presents itself on the palate
good structure, full, balanced, with tannins
silky. Good persistence with a fresh finish
which refers to the first olfactory notes.
