Intense ruby ??red, the nose expresses notes of black cherry, vanilla and tobacco. A vegetal trace opens up to a thick, elegant, fresh and harmonious taste, whose closure stands out for its persistence on the fruit.

Throughout the meal, it goes well with rich meat dishes. Try it with braised beef in red wine.

The birth of the Cortona DOC in 1999, its immediate affirmation as an area suited to the cultivation of the best international vines together with the friendship with the Aliotti Tommasi family, owners of excellent land, were the inspiring factors for the birth of Poliziano's wine project in Cortona. However, it was in 2006, convinced of the completely peculiar potential of Merlot grown in the Pliocene clays of Cortona, that Poliziano began bottling "In Violas", a red whose maturation takes place for approximately 18 months in barrique.
