“The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia shows a beautiful minerality with dusty notes of limestone or flint. This is the special signature of the wine, which expresses itself particularly well in a hot vintage like this. The Rancia also offers a superficial quality with tones of red and purple fruit. The 2020 vintage shows beautiful concentration and richness with wild cherry and plum, but ultimately the wine leaves an elegant mineral finish. The Rancia will need further bottle ageing."
