Bertinga La Porta di Vertine Chianti Classico is a pure Sangiovese coming from a small amphitheater-shaped vineyard located outside the walls of the medieval village of Vertine. Matured for 16 months in concrete tanks to enhance the fresh and fruity qualities typical of the highest vineyards.

This vintage reveals excellent fruit quality with an earthy and ferrous note that distinguishes it. The wine offers great richness in the mouth with elegant garnishes and bold fruit flavors.

Anatoly Korneev and Maxim Kashirin are known as the ambassadors of Italian wine in Russia, thanks to their import company, called Simple, a leader in the sector for 25 years. In 2015 they realized their long-standing dream of becoming producers with the acquisition of three high-altitude vineyards in the surroundings of Gaiole in Chianti: La Porta di Vertine, Punta di Adine and Bertinga, the historic plot that also gave its name to the their avant-garde cellar.
