In the Campogiovanni Estate there is still a plot of Sangiovese vines, planted in the seventies, which produces exceptional grapes that give life to a wine of particular aromatic complexity, elegance and great concentration. From the grapes of these vines, in some exceptional years, we decided to vinify, refine and bottle separately a limited selection of Brunello di Montalcino that we called ‘Le Viti del 1976’. The first harvest to be released was 2007, of which we produced only a few hundred bottles packaged in elegant wooden boxes covered in leather.
