Of the 88 hectares of vineyards owned by Luce della Vite, 11 are registered in the Brunello di Montalcino register. It is here that the Sangiovese for Luce Brunello is born. This wine is our tribute to this excellent wine born in Montalcino in the second half of the 19th century. It was the first wine in Italy to obtain, in 1980, the Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin. Today it is one of the emblems of fine Made in Italy wines. Luce Brunello di Montalcino thus continues a journey of the highest quality inspired by this unique territory and the great wines that are born here.
The wine has an intense ruby red color with ample aromatic notes of ripe black fruits and licorice, followed by hints of tobacco and truffle. In the mouth it seduces with its softness and freshness, revealing a refined structure built on velvety tannins. The finish is extraordinarily persistent and elegant.
