Cerretalto 2018 presents a young and lively red. The nose expresses a mix of fruits young reds, spices and the usual graphite. On the palate it is rich and harmonious, it shows a elegant and fine structure which fully reflects the 2018 harvest. The finish is balanced and very precise, with a present acidity that perfectly balances the persistence, depth and roundness of this wine. NOTES OF THE VINTAGE 2018 was characterized by a very cold winter, with harsh temperatures led to a delay in budding of about a week compared to average of previous years. Spring was characterized by rainfall abundant. Flowering occurred in the last week of May. The summer, initially cool, continued with higher temperatures in June and July but did not never reached excessive peaks. The strong temperature variations between day and night in the days before the harvest favored a slow ripening of the grapes and constant.
