? Type: DOCG ? Grapes: 100% Sangiovese ? Nature of the soil: sea sand mixed with minerals ? Altitude: 400 m above sea level ? Training system: double spurred cordon ? Vinification: in Allier oak vats remaining completely still for the first 2 days. Initial gentle pumping over and, once spontaneous fermentation has started, we continue with the same procedure in a less invasive way as possible in order to preserve the elegance of the grape. Fermentation lasts about 16/17 days ? Aging: in 26 quintal oak barrels for 47 months. It becomes Brunello after 5 years, also considering the 6 months of aging in the bottle. ? Description: it is made with a particular selection of grapes harvested in the historic vineyard of Marroneto, located near the small church of Madonna delle Grazie, dating back to 1200, from which it takes its name. During the maturation in large oak barrels, the natural aromas are preserved as much as possible, protecting it from the aggression of the wood. It is a wine of great depth, interesting, in which the pleasantness of Sangiovese is combined with a complexity typical of great wines. A classic meditation wine, fruity, variable in aromas, with a great impact on the palate.
