1975 was produced exclusively with proprietary grapes belonging to vineyards over 25 years old.
This wine precedes the registration of the clone known as Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 (Brunello Biondi Santi 11). Clone carrying
the family name and which was officially recognized in 1978.
THE REFINEMENT
The Riserva 1975 was aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years.
It was able to benefit from a very long refinement in the bottle in the quiet and darkness of "La Storica", the refinement cellar
of Tenuta Greppo, where all the historical vintages of Riserva Biondi-Santi are scrupulously preserved.
REFILLING
This year was filled initially in 2000 and subsequently in 2020.
