Wine born from the Banfi adventure in the Bolgheri area.
VARIETIES
Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, with minor percentages of Cabernet Franc.
METHOD OF PRODUCTION
Fermentation: in temperature-controlled (25-28°C) stainless-steel tanks.
Aging: in French oak barriques (225 & 350 l.) for about 10 months
THE WINEMAKER COMMENT
Complex and intense aromas, characterized by hints of blueberry and jam, followed by notes of tobacco and cocoa. In the mouth it is soft, with sweet and elegant tannins. Long and persistent finish on the palate. Wine with very good agimg potential.
