The prolonged aging in wood (at least 5/6 years) allows this nectar to be enriched with intense aromas with notes of apricot, dried fruit, nuts and honey.
Vinsanto is the traditional after-dinner wine, and its complexity suggests avoiding pairing it with sweet foods and biscuits. Instead, try pairing it with Gorgonzola or dark chocolate.
