Classification:
Umbria IGT
Grapes:
Chardonnay and Grechetto
Climate:
The 2015 vintage was characterized by a mild climate
without excessive temperature peaks. Thanks to a
winter rich in precipitation, the vines have got to
waking up in a shy spring, having a good one
water reserve. The budding was anticipated
compared to last year, as well as the flowering started
after mid-May, which was followed by an excellent one
fruit set.
The light rainfall after mid-August and
consequent lowering of temperatures, have
created the optimal conditions for the continuation of the cycle
vegetative growth of the vine and fruit ripening. There
the Chardonnay harvest for Cervaro began in
third ten days of August followed by the harvest of
Grechetto, which reaches the right maturation with approx
two weeks late and ended in the middle of
September.
