Winter 2014 has been very mild in our area, and climate never reached extremely cold temperatures. Rainfall have been abundant though, with continuous rains throughout spring and early hot summer days. The high temperatures of February and March favored the budding of the vines earlier than the seasonal average. Then the little summer drought facilitated the natural progress of the picking up times.
The harvest started with the Alicante and Merlot in Florence on September the 6th and ended on October the 7th with the Petit Verdot of Panzano.
