Something different. 100% Sangiovese from the "Mello" vineyard in Gaiole in Chianti, 700 m asl. The grapes are harvested late to obtain maximum ripeness from this beautiful high-altitude vineyard. Fermented in concrete tanks with 20% of whole bunches. The very long 4-month maceration gives this wine a wonderful fruity character, which differentiates it from more classic styles.
