The history of Chardonnay di Fèlsina began in the 1980s, from the grafting of French clones into the vineyards owned by the nearby Tenuta di Farnetella. Today it can count on new plantings in the area that rises from the Ombrone river towards the Podere del Poggiolo, where there are looser soils than those of the Chianti Classico, varieties of clones and rootstocks that continue the research begun decades ago, among the first on this grape variety in Tuscany. First year of production 1987.
