Assessment
Y d'Yquem has conquered its space in one of the most prestigious châteaux in the world. Sometimes shy and always difficult to classify due to its unique character, it is not surprising that great experts attribute to it characteristics of the great white wines of Alsace or Burgundy. In youth it is citrusy and floral, with intense peach aromas; time makes it honeyed, seductive... essential. Despite having between 6 and 8 grams of residual sugar, it is practically dry on the palate thanks to its exceptional acidity and its magnificent freshness.
