Tomaresca-Antinori's Moscato di Trani Passito “Kaloro” was born in the Castel del Monte area in beautiful and sunny Puglia. The Antinori family has decided to invest in this land with enormous potential, focusing on valorising the native vines and the intrinsic qualities of the territory. The estate symbolizes a tale of wines, sun and sea and the vineyards are located in beautiful expanses that slowly slope towards the sea for a wonderful spectacle. The cellar is characterized by the quality and personality of the final product.
The grapes for Moscato di Trani Passito "Kaloro" by Tomaresca-Antinori are grown following the dictates of the organic regime, in total respect of the natural phases of growth and development of the plants and bunches. The climate is Mediterranean with hot, sultry summers and mild winters, without particular temperature changes between day and night. The harvest takes place at the beginning of September; subsequently the bunches are dried in the sun, a practice which helps to concentrate the sugars and develop a series of aromas. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel, as does the refinement. Stop for some time in the bottle.
The color of Tomaresca-Antinori's Moscato di Trani Passito “Kaloro” is an intense amber-golden yellow with brilliant reflections. The nose perceives hints of citrus fruits, candied fruit and honey and balsamic notes on the finish; in the mouth it is enveloping, elegant and inviting with a final freshness that attracts glass after glass. Perfect in combination with dark chocolate, dry pastries and fruit cakes with custard; also interesting with blue and mature cow's milk cheeses. Excellent to accompany the end of a meal on the occasion of anniversaries or important family occasions or for a romantic evening in front of the fireplace to enjoy rare and secret flavours.
