Il Solatio In the heart of the Castello di Albola estate, in a formidable position that makes the steep slope called Solatio magical for its exposure to the full light of the South-East sun, here is a parcel of just under one hectare planted with Sangiovese. The altitude, which varies from 550 to 580 meters, and the rocky soil are the founding elements of Il Solatio, from which a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione of rare value is obtained. The crystalline class of this wine lies in its elegant aromas embellished with rarefied spicy sensations, in the very fine tannins and in the straight and composed sip, so much so that it qualifies as the clearest expression of the grape variety.
