Bell’Aja is a clear example of how a Bordeaux blend harmoniously meets the terroir of Bolgheri. A true second vin that combines immediate pleasantness with taste-olfactory complexity, demonstrating a character deeply linked to its area of ??origin. Characteristics Vintage 2022 was a year marked by a particular period of drought that began at the end of winter and continued for a good part of the summer. In mid-August, a series of storms were providential for the most crucial period of grape ripening. The Bolgheri varieties have shown that they can react very positively, on the one hand resisting the initial lack of water and on the other metabolizing the rains as best and as quickly as possible, ultimately allowing for optimal ripening, especially for the less precocious varieties. The harvest started early, on average around the third week of August, and ended at the end of September. Tasting Notes and Pairings Violet red in color, the wine has hints of wild berry jam on the nose, with sweet spicy notes. Pleasant and harmonious in the mouth with soft and enveloping tannins.
