Cerretta is a geographical mention of the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in particular it is configured as a hill in the northern part of the municipality. The land is the oldest in the Langhe, from the Helvetian period; Barolo della Cerretta are rigid and predisposed to aging. For Prunotto this is the first vintage of a Barolo Cerretta and it is made in the most traditional way with aging in large barrels.
