An intense, robust, austere Barolo, but at the same time
harmonious and balanced. It is the Serralunga cru par excellence,
undoubtedly among the best known and most appreciated MGAs.
At sight it is an intense garnet red colour. It's striking on the nose
the great complexity, the elegance, the ranging nuances
from berries to sweet tobacco and balsamic hints
profound and intriguing. On the palate it is a rich, harmonious wine,
endowed with extraordinary persistence.
The vinification of Barolo Vignarionda takes place in tanks
stainless steel at controlled temperature for approximately 18/20 days.
The refinement lasts 24 months, of which the first year
in 225 liter French oak barriques and the second
year in large Slavonian oak barrels.
