VINEYARDS:
Our Barbaresco is the result of the careful selection of grapes
Nebbiolo from vineyards owned by us
Family, located in different locations within the area of
Barbaresco: in Treiso (Cascina Il Bricco, San Stefanetto and
Bongiovanni) and in San Rocco Seno D'Elvio (Rocche di
Massalupo).
VINIFICATION:
In steel. Maceration on the skins for approximately 30 days
rather high temperatures.
REFINEMENT:
In French and Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 30 months and in
small part in barriques.
NOTE:
A Barbaresco with a very classic style: elegance and finesse, fruit
ripe and spicy, important but not overwhelming tannins, one
good structure and concentration. Very long-lived.
Ours is not a "basic" Barbaresco, but represents da
always, and as per tradition, the most faithful expression of the various
great terroirs of the Barbaresco area.
