The color is bright ruby red, but very dense. The nose develops around pleasant fruity tones of blackberry jam, licorice, spices such as pink pepper. The taste is full and elegant, with very soft tannins and a total appeal of fruity notes, balanced by a pleasant almond aftertaste nuance. To be combined with dishes with sweet and sour flavours, due to the drying of the grapes to which Amarone is subjected.
