The Moscato Rosa vines grow at an altitude between 250 and 300
meters in a very ventilated area. Wind is essential to avoid
the stagnation of humidity which would cause the development of mold such as
botrytis, which would lead to a decrease in intensity
dye and would destroy the multiplicity of components
aromatic. The lands chosen for Moscato Rosa are oriented
towards the south/south-west and are composed of a mixture of porphyry,
sand, clay and limestone.
The grapes are vinified like a red wine, but with brevity
maceration to avoid the extraction of too astringent tannins. To the
achievement of the desired characteristics, fermentation
is interrupted with the help of cold. Young wine therefore
it remains in steel barrels until bottling.
Moscato Rosa has a shiny ruby red colour,
with aromas of lively freshness and an aromatic bouquet
intense with notes of rose, cloves, cinnamon and peel
of orange. On the palate the wine enchants with a complex and elegant
structure and a fascinating interplay between acidity, sweetness and tannin.
Moscato Rosa is a very particular sweet wine that ranges
from being an aperitif wine to a meditation wine. It's a
excellent accompaniment for dry chocolate cakes and tarts
with berries and cocoa-based desserts.
