GRAPE VARIETY
100% Sauvignon
WINEMAKING
The grapes are softly pressed and the must undergoes static clarification. There
fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 19°C. The
wine then ages for a few months on its own yeasts in stainless steel containers.
TASTING
Sauvignon strikes with its delicate yellow with greenish reflections and a bouquet
aromatic with hints of ripe gooseberries, papaya, elderberries and delicate notes
herbaceous. The elegant structure and balanced acidity come together in a finish
absolutely inviting.
TERROR
Vineyards with south-east and south-west exposure on calcareous soils with sandy veins.
Collection made entirely by hand.
HARVEST 2023
With great pleasure we announce the arrival of a promising vintage! After a typical spring, a phase
fresh in May slightly delayed the vegetative period, resulting in only the onset of flowering
towards the end of this month. The high temperatures, and the drought of June and July, then slowed down
the development of the vine again and have, so to speak, normalized it. At the beginning of August the
long-awaited rains, providing the vines with the water they needed. The meticulous work in the vineyard gave i
its fruits, despite the challenging climate with hot periods contrasted with cool periods with rain.
Thanks to the "golden South Tyrolean autumn", the grapes were finally able to benefit from conditions for a long time
optimal climate and above all lots of sun, to the point that the start of the harvest was postponed
compared to the "historic" date of the beginning of September. In terms of quality, the 2023 vintage expresses itself with levels of
very balanced acidity, a characteristic fruit and a good structure.
