HARVEST 2021
We are delighted with a qualitatively excellent vintage, especially for our white wines! One spring
dry and cool led to a late flowering of the vines and was followed by a hot and dry June. After
a changeable midsummer, followed by a surprising change in the weather in mid-August, which resulted in
dream weather until the end of September and the best conditions for optimal ripening of the
grapes. The harvest began in mid-September, about 10 days after last year. With blue skies and a lot
sun, and therefore daytime temperatures of midsummer and already autumn nights, the grapes were in the condition of
achieve ideal sugar levels while maintaining very good acidity. As a result, the 2021 wines stand
showing great quality!
