A winter with moderate rainfall preceded an early spring, marked by an episode of frost which had no effect on the vineyards. Flowering occurred in late May/early June, ahead of a summer whose hot, intense conditions were counterbalanced by regular wind and sufficient water reserves, ensuring uniform, quality growth.
