“A” is a wine that was born from a great challenge taken up by the Antinori family in the Fattoria Aldobrandesca: to create a Rosé of absolute quality, made starting from a terroir full of charm, that of the Tuscan Maremma, and from a grape that Aleatico has ancient roots in this area. An aromatic label that involves the nose and palate with subtle, extraordinarily elegant sensations that do not go unnoticed by the attentive taster. A bottle whose name, "A", wants to pay homage to the initials of the names of both the farm and the varietal, in an inseparable union between the volcanic soil that characterizes the vineyards and the grapes that grow there.

This Rosé wine "A" from Fattoria Aldobrandesca - Antinori comes from the pure grapes of a vine that is not very widespread in Italy, but which however finds one of its terroirs of choice in Tuscany, the Aleatico. This variety has in fact been cultivated here since Etruscan times, confirming itself today as an important grape for viticulture. The terroir is flat, of volcanic origin, characterized by tuff substrates. After a short cold maceration, the must ferments in stainless steel containers, where the temperature is controlled. Still in steel, the wine then rests for a few months, before being bottled and marketed.

The Rosato "A" made by the Antinori winery inside the Fattoria Aldobrandesca reveals itself to the eye with a color that recalls the shade of coral, decidedly brilliant. The small berries alternate with touches of more exotic fruit, from which a light Mediterranean aroma also emerges. When tasted, it is light-bodied, drinkable and smooth, with a refreshing and mineral sip, where the Mediterranean imprint that was already hovering on the nose is found on the palate. A perfect rosé for all occasions, which we recommend trying in a Japanese sushi and sashimi dinner.
