NAME: Rosso di Montalcino DOC. VARIETIES: 100% Sangiovese. GROUND: More alluvial terrain with traces of calcareous marls. ALTITUDE: From 280 to 310 meters above sea level. VINEYARDS: From 22 to 12 years. TRAINING SYSTEM: Cordon rammed, organic farming. VINTAGE: The winter season was quite mild with no rain frequent but guaranteed a good reserve, the month of March very placid, anticipated about budding a week. TASTING NOTES: Lively ruby ??red, with aromas of cherry, red and large berry fruits salinity surrounded by notes of scrub Mediterranean. On the palate it is fresh, direct with integrated tannins and marked flavor.
