TYPE: Dry rosé wine.
PRODUCTION AREA: Municipality of Gavorrano – Località Grilli In the valley between Vetulonia and Giuncarico D.O.C Maremma Toscana.
GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese.
SOIL COMPOSITION: Stony Galestro soil, with medium-textured silt and clay.
VINIFICATION: “White vinification” of the black Sangiovese grapes, which initially remain in contact with the skins for a very short period of maximum 24 hours. Fermentation at a controlled temperature (18°) in steel vats for 14 days.
COLOR: Pale pink.
FRAGRANCE: Fresh with pleasant hints of small berries and vanilla.
FLAVOR: Good flavor, excellent balance and a surprisingly long and pleasant finish.
PAIRING: Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs very well with fresh first courses, fish, white meats, vegetable crudités and slightly aged cheeses.
