CHAMPAGNE BRUT "BELLE EPOQUE" 2008 - PERRIER-JOUËT: WHY WE LIKE IT This Champagne Brut "Belle Epoque" 2008 - Perrier-Jouët is the fruit of a year full of contrasts, in which the season began with a harsh and dry winter, followed by a spring temperate and late frosts in April. In June, milder temperatures arrived accompanied by sudden rains. In July, there was an exceptional and sultry heat , while August saw milder temperatures and some rain, albeit light, ending with September which turned out to be a warm and sunny month. The experience and expertise of the Maison Perrier-Jouët made it possible to obtain a fine vintage despite the weather conditions were not entirely favorable . This is how a Champagne was born which, after resting on the lees for over six years, proves to be extraordinarily round and balanced.
