As with all traditional recipes that respect themselves, even for Pappardelle, everyone has their own version that tends to be considered the authentic one. But when you say "Pappardelle" you are talking about Flour, Water and Salt, nothing else. These are the only main protagonists to make a dense and elastic dough. As soon as you think of this type of pasta, the mind associates it with "Wild Boar", that is, seasoned with Wild Boar sauce. Why not try them?!
