PRODUCT INFORMATION

A wonderful, easy-drinking, expressive example of Franciacorta with a captivating combination of floral (from Pinot Bianco) and fruity (from Chardonnay) notes.

Grapes: Chardonnay 60%, Pinot Bianco 30%, Pinot Noir 10%.
Vineyards: Franciacorta (BS) in the municipalities of Capriolo and Iseo.
Production cycle: fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel tanks is followed, in spring, by draft with the start of a slow refermentation in the bottle according to the traditional Franciacorta method. The bottles remain in the stack for at least 30 months (total 38 months from the harvest), guaranteeing the unmistakable bouquet due to the contact and autolysis of the yeasts. After disgorgement, with the addition of a very dry dosage syrup (8 g/litre), Franciacorta undergoes further refinement in the cellar for a few months.
Color: straw yellow, shiny. Rich and abundant foam with a fine and persistent perlage.
Nose: slightly floral, elegant, of notable intensity, medium notes of yeast and freshly baked bread.
Taste: structured but soft and creamy despite its dry taste, fruity notes, long and balanced finish.
Alcohol content: 12.5% vol.
Storage of the bottles: lying down, in the dark, in a dry and cool place.
Service: serve at 10° C, preferably in a bucket with water and ice, uncorking the bottle when serving and using slender and not too narrow glasses.
Gastronomy: excellent as an aperitif and with appetizers, soft cheeses and the most delicate fish dishes.
