Details
Deep ruby ??red, with deep purple reflections. It reveals an extraordinary bouquet to the nose, composed of hints of liquorice, truffle, spring flowers, raspberries and blackcurrants. Then also coffee, tobacco, laurel and woody. It has exceptional concentration and superb purity on the palate, not to mention a length that is truly interminable. The tannins are velvety and sweet, and promise to sustain it for many more years to come.

PAIRING: great Bordeaux, even more pleasant if accompanied by a risotto with bacon, sage and smoked ricotta.
