PRODUCT INFORMATION

The new born, Cristal 2015, turns to us with a patient soul, full of promises. Forged by time and from a chalky earth unique in the world, after ten years of aging it is now ready to be tasted.

THE WAIT
Time has done its job. Cristal Brut is a giant with a patient soul. After long years of rest in the cellar, it still brims with youth. The plaster concentrated the material, giving it a special vivacity, a surprising thickness. Absolute tension, fullness, supreme persistence are the characteristics that take it beyond its limits. It asserts its presence, flowing like spring water, supported by the strength and concentration of the vintage.

A TERROIR
The Cristal cuvée has forged its identity from the calcareous depths of these limestone lands which reflect the sun's rays in the estate and do not catch the delicate light in winter. Cristal Brut has a measured strength, a penetrating purity, like an agile dancer who draws wonderfully light pirouettes in the air. A sparkling fruit that resonates, an initial vibration that pierces and invites recollection. It's a chalky concentrate, an ethereal sensation of delicate tension.

VINTAGE
2014 was a continental year, hot and intense, with a torrid and contradictory climatic trend, with an agile alternation of heat and coolness. The 2008 Cristal is the embodiment of this concentration, this intensity, the vivacity and the complexity of the vintage.

« The 2014 Cristal is deep, intense and masterful. True quintessence of calcareous soils that damage this sensation of texture and delicate tension. »
— Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, Cellar Master
