Armand de Brignac was born from the dream of the Cattier family, which represents the thirteenth generation of winemakers in the village of Rilly-la-Montagne. Today, under the leadership of Jean-Jacques and his son Alexandre, the Cattiers own 33 hectares of vineyards in some of the most renowned crus in all of Champagne.
Their goal is to represent the best quality of the region, drawing on over 250 years of experience. Armand de Brignac is always a blend of three vintages. In this Cuvée de Prestige, the scrupulous selection of the best grapes and portions of the cuvée guarantees the fruity character of the wine, exceptional softness and balanced acidity.
The same attention to detail can be found in the cellar: a bottle of Armand de Brignac passes through the hands of no more than 18 highly qualified people. Each bottle is clad in metal and finished by polishing and hand-applied French pewter labels. Each employee can make a maximum of twenty bottles per hour and no two bottles are alike.
