Monfortino is an almost mythological Barolo, absolutely majestic, considered among the best red wines in the world. Born in the best vintages from the best Nebbiolo grapes of the France cru. Vinified in wood, it ages in large barrels for more than 6 years. Its aromatic profile is very rich and impressive, the taste is characterized by great complexity and a sustained fresh and savory component, of interminable persistence
The Barolo Monfortino Riserva is presented in the glass with a bright and iridescent garnet red color. The nose is a poignant portrait of the Langa, which is revealed gradually and in a whispered manner. Dog rose, violet, cherry: there is everything in this hymn to classicism, although speaking of descriptors is almost an understatement given the harmony and cohesion of the perfumes. The taste is experiential, a real cyclone that conquers the palate, filling it with grace and power at the same time. The displacement of the liquid allows it to go very far, fading into an eternal persistence. To drink, at least once in a lifetime.
