VINEYARDS:
Our Barolo is the result of the careful selection of grapes
Nebbiolo from vineyards owned by us
Family, located in different locations within the area of
Barolo: in Serralunga d'Alba (Cascina Ornato, La Serra e
Briccolina), in Grinzane Cavour (Gustava and Garretti), in La
Morra (Roncaglie), Novello (Ravera) and, from the harvest
2015, in Monforte d'Alba (Mosconi).
VINIFICATION:
In steel. Maceration on the skins for approximately 30 days
rather high temperatures.
REFINEMENT:
In French and Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 30 months and in
small part in barriques.
NOTE:
A Barolo with a very classic style: elegance and finesse, fruit
ripe and spicy, important but not overwhelming tannins, one
good structure and concentration. Very long-lived.
Ours is not a "basic" Barolo, but it has always represented, e
as per tradition, the most faithful expression of the various greats
terroirs of the Barolo area.
