The Gewürztraminer vines, all grown on Guyot systems,
they grow on deep, clayey soils with a significant presence
of skeleton (high percentage of pebbles) at an altitude that
varies between 350 and 650 meters and with exposure towards the south-west.
The must after a short period of maceration (contact with
the skins) is fermented at low temperature in tanks
of steel. Subsequently, the wine matures on the yeasts with frequent
battonage (keeping the yeasts in suspension) for approx
six months before bottling.
Gewürztraminer has an intense golden yellow color
with a deep bouquet of complex aromas such as litchi, peel
orange, cloves, nutmeg and rose. Wine must
rest for a few moments in the glass to best express yourself. To the
palate is full and stimulating thanks to its structure and freshness
and liveliness, with a slightly bitter final note and a lot
persistent. The Gewürztraminer reaches its fullness
evolution only after several months of maturation in the bottle.
The wine pairs perfectly with liver pâté and white meats
grilled meats, shellfish as well as numerous Asian dishes.
